One long central table created the ultimate spectacle in L’Ecurie, whilst offering an intimate setting for guests to gather. Styled with an abundance of candlelight, all 90 guests were united in a vision of tumbling gypsophila & pillowy roses as the tablescape drew upon white to neutral tones, using texture within crockery and glassware for a sense of opulence as the candlelight illuminated the details on the table. Added black bentwood chairs, and plush velvet bows offered a nod to the black tie attire, creating a sense of occasion. All complete with a final flourish of gold for a little NYE sparkle.
We played with the darkness through a bespoke lighting rig and oversized chandeliers to illuminate intricate details of the tablescape & intersperse moments of crescendo & surprise (including their gourmet Macdonalds menu, with personalised branded packaging), guests serenaded by their Nammos inspired DJ for a little drama before building to an epic party with their hip hop band.
On the day, family & friends filled the pews of St.Lukes, a church filled with special memories of family history. Atmospheric candlelight, majestic fir trees and soothing Gospel Choir arrangements, with the perfect dramatic bridal entrance, infused their personal style and essence as a couple.
We embraced the depths of winter & the sparkling anticipation of a dawning new year to curate a breathtaking design concept. Across the day tonal whites and barely-there neutrals blended beautifully for an opulent & ethereal ambiance throughout the day. Dark accents used sparingly throughout the design grounded the airy palette, a nod to the black-tie dresscode, alongside hints of gold, offering a formal New Years Edge that created a sense of occasion.
Their reception was held at the majestic Dorfold Hall Estate, a Jacobean mansion house, with an impressive juxtaposing ultra modern event space, offering the perfect blank canvas for Millie & Oliver’s single table vision.
